This calculator is intended for the approximate calculation of the daily maternity allowance for employees or the self-employed, who meet
the conditions for entitlement to maternity allowance
and are
one of the following:
- Maternity worker or self-employed worker.
- A woman or man who replaces their spouse, who is entitled to full maternity allowance.
- A father or mother who received a child up to the age of 10 for foster care, adopted a child up to the age of 10 or underwent a surrogacy procedure.
Please note that the entitlement to maternity allowance and the amount of the maternity allowance will only be determined by a claims clerk of the National Insurance Institute.
